ZONTA CLUB OF FULTON-MONTGOMERY
WOMEN’S SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Each year the Zonta Club of Fulton-Montgomery awards a scholarship to a woman
enrolled in a post-secondary program with the goal of entering or re-entering the
work force. It is the mission of this Zonta club to advance the status of women in our
area by assisting them in their efforts to improve their educations.
In order to be eligible for this $1,000.00 award, a woman must:
* Be a resident of either Fulton or Montgomery counties.
* Have a cumulative grade average of a B-minus or better, or the equivalent.
* Have completed at least half of her program.
The completed application (attached) must:
* Contain a typed letter (handwritten letters will not be accepted).
* Include ALL ITEMS ON THE CHECKLIST in order to be considered
* Be postmarked no later than June 27th, 2008.
***Please note that applications that are incomplete or that arrive later than the
deadline may not be considered.
*** Awardee must submit proof of eligibility at close of semester in order to
receive the second award installment of $500.00
The Zonta Club of Fulton-Montgomery Award winner will be notified by July 18th,
and will be presented with the award at the August, 2008 club meeting. Completed
applications should be mailed to:
